This type of wisdom, discernment, and critical thought needs to be implemented by all students and parents investigating colleges. As an admissions professional, I can attest that a campus visit will tell you a LOT about a school. It’s more than just taking a campus tour. Students and parents should require universities to allow them to sit in on a class and meet with professors. Students and parents need to be smart about this choice, take it seriously, and do their research.
