Counting the Cost

Below is a link to an article that explains that students and parents are ruling out colleges based solely on sticker price.  As I have pointed out the last couple of days, the financial aid process is a partnership and the sticker price is rarely the final price.

The study from Student Poll (A collaboration between the College Board and Art & Science Group LLC) also said that parents and students were engaged in a little “wishful thinking” in how they would be able to afford college.  Again, it’s important to remember that making an investment this large always requires careful thought and planning.  No one just wakes up the first day of their freshman year and can magically afford college.  It takes planning, wisdom, and effort.  However, it is possible as I have shown the last few days.
